The main objective of this sub-project is to provide mechanism for exchanging and dissemination of information among RCA member states as well as the general public through electronic means, i.e. the internet. This sub-project consists of the following components :
Establishment of an RCA Homepage
Establishment of National Homepages for each Member State
Regional Implementation of Distance Learning Material for Radiation Protection Training
Emergency Preparedness Training
RCA Regional and 9 National Homepages have been
established. Distance Learning materials for Radiation Protection are already
been tested in different countries. The scope of the ENO framework is envisaged
to enhance communication linkages between various projects in the region and
also improve interaction between other international organisations engaged in
the related activities. The use of state-of-the-art internet technology for
Distance Learning initiatives are also part of the scheme for the benefit of a
larger number of participants who are at present limited by space and time.
