The Joint Project aims to develop partnerships and inspire collaborative projects with regional, governmental, and private sector agencies. In addition, institutional infrastructures and management capabilities will be strengthened to achieve better networking and information flows between the participating nuclear-related institutes and the beneficiaries (end users) of the Joint Project activities and the public at large.

MSs have demonstrated a high degree of ownership in the Joint Project. All RCA MSs are participating, and the majority of developing countries are participating in all the sub-projects. MSs are participating through contributions via cash, in-kind, and TCDC.
